Operation Backpack
Did you know that each year, many students in the city of Rochester go back to school with out the basic school supplies needed for academic success? Realizing this, Advantage FCU has teamed up with WROC Channel 8 and FOX TV to help give these students the supplies they need.
For the past 4 years, during the month of August, we have become a donation point for anyone who would like to donate any back-to-school supplies for children in need. This includes anything from paper to pens, notebooks to folders, and everything in between. A single contribution of any of these supplies can help put a student on the track to success!
This year (2010) we will be collecting BACKPACKS! Stop by any of branches during the month of August and donate!
