Teen Smart

Advantage Federal Credit Union has created an exciting new teen savings and financial education program for its members.  The goal is to assist teens in managing their finances by helping them understand the all-important world of personal finance. Teens can learn to manage their money and get valuable and practical information on a wide variety of financial and real life topics.

The Teen Smart Program consists of two components: Brass Student Program and professional advice from your Credit Union staff.

The Brass Student Program consists of two components:

• Each member will receive an annual subscription (4 issues) of Brass Magazine mailed quarterly directly to their home.  Entertaining, informative, inspiring and direct, Brass content educates young adults about money while discussing credit union products and services. 
• Members can access their website www.brassmagazine.com for viewing articles, past issues and opportunities to write articles that could possibly get published in Brass Magazine or appear on the website.

Advantage FCU will hold a series of informational seminars throughout the year on various money management and financial topics.  Our vision is to create resources for young adults about how life and money interact, while making it an entertaining and engaging process.  Our goal is to educate our members, so they can make informed financial choices in their lives.  We understand the importance of reaching out to young adults and teaching them how to become better savers and how to establish good credit and attain financial success.
