Gas Card Contest July 2026 

OFFICIAL RULES 

Important: Please read the Official Rules (“Rules”) before participating in the Green Apple promotion. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Rules and represent that you satisfy all the eligibility requirements below. 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. 

How to Enter: There is one (1) entry timeframe and there will be a total of one (1) winner chosen. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. 

July 2026 Entry Period: You will receive one (1) Entry for your Debit Card swipe at a convenience store August 1, 2026, and August 30, 2026. Maximum one (1) Entry total per participant. Alternatively, you may submit one (1) Entry for August 2026 by submitting an Alternative Entry Form as outlined below. 

Example: You may swipe your Advantage FCU Debit Card at a convenience store one (1) time with no minimum purchase to be entered to win. Any future swipes at convenience stores will not count towards your entry. 

Mail-In or Branch Entry: If you do not already have an Entry you may receive one (1) Entry by submitting an Alternative Entry Form by mail to Advantage Federal Credit Union, ATTN: Marketing Department (Gas Card), 70 Metro Park, Rochester, NY 14623. You may receive a maximum of one (1) Entry for the Entry Period for which you submitted an Alternative Entry Form. For example, if you submit an Alternative Entry Form on August 17, 2026, you would receive one (1) Entry to the August 2026 prize. Maximum one (1) Entry total per participant. 

Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years or older (or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is greater) at the time of entry. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Employees and board members of Advantage FCU and immediate families and household members of all such persons are not eligible to win. This contest is intended solely for viewing and participation in the United States and shall be construed and evaluated solely under United States federal, state and local laws. By participating, entrants certify that they meet all eligibility requirements. 

Prizes: A total of one (1) prize will be awarded. One prize will be awarded to the winner from the entrants during the month of August 2026. The August 2026 winner will receive a $200 Gas Gift Card to a convenience store of Advantage FCU’s choosing. The total approximate retail value of the one (1) prize is $200.00 USD. 

Prizes are not transferable to another person or entity. No cash redemption or substitution of prize will be made, except by Advantage FCU in its sole discretion due to causes determined solely by Advantage FCU and then for a prize of equal or greater value. 

Determining Winners: Within 10 days after the end of each Entry Period, Advantage FCU will conduct a random drawing of all valid Entries. For example, Advantage FCU will conduct the August 2026 drawing no later than August 10, 2026. Advantage FCU will draw a winner and an alternate winner for the Entry Period. All drawings and determinations of winners by Advantage FCU will be final. 

Notification of Winners/ Alternate Winners: Advantage FCU will notify the winner within three (3) days of each drawing. The winner must claim the prize within 14 days from Advantage FCU’s first notification attempt. A winner’s failure to claim the prize within the timeframe will result in forfeiting the prize and Advantage FCU will attempt to notify the alternative winner. Any alternative winner must claim the prize within 14 days from Advantage FCU’s first notification attempt. An alternative winner’s failure to claim the prize within the timeframe will result in forfeiting the prize. 

Unclaimed Prizes: Prizes not claimed by either the winner or alternative winner will be fully forfeited. The forfeiting of an unclaimed prize will not impact the winners of any other Entry Period. For example, if the August 2026 prize is unclaimed and forfeited, the winners of the August 2026 prize will have no claim to the August 2026 (nor will any other entrant). If a prize is unclaimed and forfeited, Advantage FCU will donate the prize to a local non-profit organization. 

Tax: Advantage FCU will report all prize winnings to the appropriate state and federal agencies as required by applicable law. ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL TAXES AND ALL OTHER EXPENSES RELATING TO THE USE, ACCEPTANCE, AND POSSESSION OF THE PRIZE ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF EACH WINNER. By participating, entrants understand and agree that they may have tax obligations if they win a prize. 

Consumer Disclosure: Odds of winning vary based on the number of entries each month. For example, if there are 1000 entries for the August 2026 prize your odds of winning that prize would be 1 out of 1000. However, due to the inability to forecast the number of entrants an accurate disclosure of the odds of winning each prize is not possible. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. 

Conditions of Participation: Entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these Rules and by the decisions of Advantage FCU, which are final and binding on all matters related to this Promotion. The computer operated by Advantage FCU is the official time keeping device for the Promotion. By participating, entrant grants to Advantage FCU a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use entrant’s name, likeness, biographical information, and any other information provided by the entrant in any and all media for possible editorial, promotional or advertising purposes without further permission, notice or compensation (except where prohibited by law). Winner, as a condition of receiving any prize, also may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and where legally permissible a Publicity Release. 

Warranty Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability: The prizes offered are provided “AS IS,” without warranty, express or implied, of any kind. Advantage FCU expressly disclaims any representations and warranties, including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Advantage FCU, its officers, directors, employees, representatives, and agents are not responsible for Internet access or other connections, failed telephone or computer transmissions, electrical, network, computer hardware or software or program malfunctions, failures or difficulties or for other errors, omissions, interruptions, or deletions of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic. BY PARTICIPATING, ENTRANT AGREES TO HOLD ADVANTAGE FCU AND ITS PROMOTIONAL PARTNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES, AGENTS AND ASSIGNS HARMLESS FOR LIABILITY, DAMAGES OR CLAIMS FOR INJURY OR LOSS TO ANY PERSON OR PROPERTY INCLUDING DEATH RELATING TO, IN WHOLE OR IN PART, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, PARTICIPATION IN THIS PROMOTION, THE ACCEPTANCE AND/OR SUBSEQUENT USE OR MISUSE, OR CONDITION OF ANY OF THE PRIZES AWARDED, OR CLAIMS BASED ON PUBLICITY RIGHTS, DEFAMATION, OR INVASION OR PRIVACY. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY APPLIES TO ALL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY, AND OR CLAIMS OF THIRD PARTIES. 

False or deceptive entries or acts will render the entrant ineligible. Advantage FCU, in its sole discretion, reserves the immediate and unrestricted right to disqualify any entrant or prize winner, if either commits or has committed any act, or has been involved or becomes involved in any situation or occurrence which the Advantage FCU deems likely to subject Advantage FCU, entrant or winner to ridicule, scandal or contempt or which reflects unfavorably upon Advantage FCU in any way. If such information is discovered by Advantage FCU after a winner has received notice of a prize and before the prize is awarded, Advantage FCU may rescind the prize in its entirety. Advantage FCU is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the Promotion, or in the announcement of the prize. 

Choice of Law and Severability: This Promotion and Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the State of New York. If any term of this Promotion or Rules cannot be legally enforced, it will be considered changed to the extent necessary to comply with applicable law; the remaining terms and the application of the challenged term to persons or circumstances other than those as to which it is declared invalid or unenforceable will not be affected thereby, and each of those provisions will be valid and enforceable to the full extent permitted by law. 

Winner’s List: The name of the winner, available after August 20, 2026, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope – no later than August 31, 2026 – to Advantage Federal Credit Union, ATTN: Marketing Department (August 2026 Gas Card Contest Winner’s List), 70 Metro Park, NY 14623. Residents of Vermont may omit return postage.
