Clarkson Fire Relief

On June 21^st, a massive apartment fire in the Town of Clarkson displaced 30 residents. More than 15 emergency departments responded to the scene. Fire officials say four different callers reported the fire to the Monroe County 911 center that morning, reporting the fire burning out of control at 3640 Lake Rd in the Town of Clarkson. Additional companies were immediately summoned to assist Brockport Firefighters. Fortunately, no one was hurt and all got out safe.

These residents are in need of monetary donations. They all appreciate the goods which have been donated, but they really need extra money to help put their lives back together. They may be temporarily living in hotels or with friends or family. They need your help.

Advantage Federal Credit Union and Brockport Community Connection have partnered with the Salvation Army to create this page as a way for the community to participate in helping these families recover from this horrific tragedy.

This will be a two-month fundraising campaign with distribution to the families at the end of each 30-day period. All funds donated at the end of each 30-day period will be evenly disbursed among the 21 families.

Distributions will take place at Advantage Federal Credit Union at 4167 Lake Road in Brockport. More details to follow.
